And here it is...
I don't even know where to begin!
I've been keeping this under wraps now for months and trying to balance my other design work along with working on my first collection for Carta Bella.
When I was asked to design for Carta Bella several months ago I really didn't believe it. In fact, besides my close family, I haven't even talked to many people about it because it hasn't really sunk in.
I love Carta Bella's papers and have always been a fan of both Carta Bella and Echo Park. And can we talk about the talent on both of those brands?!
I don't feel worthy at all!
In fact it was very intimidating looking over all of their current and past collections. And then, coming up with ideas for my first collection...or the first of anything can be so intimidating, right? This was no exception.
My first collection, 'Hello Again' , will start showing up in stores next month! This is just a sneak but tomorrow the full collection will be up on the Carta Bella website- so you can check out the entire collection!
This is such a huge new adventure for me and I'm so excited and so nervous at the same time. I am also so grateful for the connections I have made in scrapbooking, online and in real life - and happy I get to share my little moment with you all! I feel like I have made so many friends (online and in real life) from this wonderful hobby.
Here is a bit from Carta Bella about Hello Again:
Introducing a hip, urban collection filled with trendy details and soft, water colored images. The "Hello Again" collection offers both vintage styling along with in-the-now prints and patterns. Perfect for projects and layouts that focus on day-to-day memories, friendships, and everything that makes you happy, this fresh collection is sure to be one of your favorites. Dress up your favorite projects with this luxe collection.
This has been such a great experience and so much fun! I cannot even put into words the excitement and how blessed I feel to be part of the Carta Bella team.
I have some fun giveaways planned for when this first line officially starts shipping next month and hope to share more on all of this very soon!
Kaitlin, I am so proud of what you have been able to accomplish. When I think back to when you first started scrapbooking and all of us couldnt wait to see your next book when coming to visit. It could not have happened to anyone more worthy of this accomplishment than yourself. The line looks amazing. I think back to visiting you as a little girl spending hours playing/creating with anything paper and its no wonder you ended up doing something you love. You are blessed.

Oh, Maria- you are making me cry! Im really still so surprised by it all! Im so excited to show Grandpa and I wish Mema could have seen it! I told mom, the name is Hello Again like the song (not the horrible 80s movie) because Mema loved Neil Diamond ;)
