Every year I struggle with what to give the neighbors for Christmas. I want something nice, but don't really want to spend a fortune on a gift. After Christmas last year, the Mr. and I were shopping at the home improvement store and I found these awesome resin NOEL signs.
Who knew home improvement stores held such wonderful surprises? Not I! I liked them, but thought they were a little plain. I knew I could pretty them up a bit without too much trouble (or expense) so I bought all they had (3). My favorite thing about them? They were on clearance and I got them on the cheap! Score!
I pulled them out this year and went to work altering them. I added some patterned paper to each letter, then some of my Merry Maker goodies. This is what I came up with:
So, long story short, after Christmas this year hit your local home improvement store with your Mr. He will be so happy and suprised you want to take him there. Ditch him in the power tool section and head to the Christmas decor department and look around. You may be surprised with what you find there.
