Pretty stoked because not only did I manage to create a tradtional scrapbook page...I used some of the Wildflower collection to create it!
This layout came together fairly quickly because I had a vision in mind- I love that when that happens! I knew right away I wanted to use the 'Do you know, I love you so?' sticker as my title and I crafted my layout around the title.
I'm typically drawn to not matting my photos and I tend to make cleaner looking layouts...but I LOVE the look of the 'messy' layered mats people create on their pages. I gave the layered mat a go because the photo needed some grounding. Because I had already used a large portion of patterned paper below, I chose to keep my layered mats few and simple.
I used my vintage typewriter to type the journaling and then cut it up into strips and stitched it on using my sewing machine.
One of my favorite papers from this line is the polaroid style paper. I cut the three photos to use as an embellishment and stacked them on each other using foam dots and adhesive. I layered a wooden heart onto photo embellshment- which fit perfect with the heart image the photo already had on it!
I scattered a few sequin stickers (also from the Wildflower collection) and used this stamp from the September Scraptastic This Life Noted kit to create the little orange 'mists'.
*Heads up- if you are interested in this stamp or any of the Scraptastic This Life Noted stamps go for it and order them now. Jessica has just updated the shop with the very last quantities of these and once they sell out they will be gone.
Overall I love how this came out and love how the bright colors of the Wildflower collection look against a white background (which is always my personal fave!)
